Afternoon everyone

Games Week 6 Review

We came into Games week 6 with 29 remaining entries and came out of it with just 14 remaining entries.

Confidence was high for Manchester United supporters as the biggest selection last weekend (12 picks). However, after a recent run of good form, United travelled down to Birmingham and came away on the end of a 3-1 away defeat.  Elsewhere, Tottenham lost to Liverpool on Sunday (no picks for the Merseysiders again!) and West Ham lost at home to Crystal Palace.

Wins for Newcastle, Brighton, Leeds and Manchester City gave nearly half the selections a win and through into the next round.

Games Week 6

We have just 14 remaining entries going into games week 7 with games next Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November:

Manchester City v Brentford

AFC Bournemouth v Everton

Liverpool v Southampton

Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United

West Ham United v Leicester City

Newcastle United v Chelsea

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Arsenal

Brighton & Hove Albion v Aston Villa

Fulham v Manchester United

All remaining participants should email their selection(s) for the next round to: before 12 Noon on Saturday 12 November.  Where a player has more than one remaining entry, please select your team for this week in the order they appear in the results table. Late responses will not be accepted.

Rules reminder:

  • Each round, you simply select 1 team to win (for each entry). If your team wins you are through to the next round. If your team draws or loses, you’re out!  Example: if you originally paid for 3 entries and have 2 teams remaining, select 2 teams but not a team that played in a previous round for that line.

  • Once you have selected a team, you cannot use that same team again in a later round (on that line).

  • If you forget to pick a team or we do not receive your choice by the deadline, you will be automatically assigned the highest-placed team in the league that you are eligible to choose.

  • The game continues until there is only 1 player left standing, who is then declared the winner.

  • If a match is abandoned, cancelled or postponed and you selected that team in the round, it is deemed a win, and you play on.

  • It is entirely the responsibility of the player to submit a team pick each week before the notified deadline to
